At a time when everyone is complaining about the quality of the new superhero movies, let's go back to a simpler time when being a superhero was a family affair, but one the had to be carried out in the utmost secrecy. Yes, THE INCREDIBLES are back with a Blu-ray release that looks, well, incredible.

Directed by Brad Bird, who also directed the underrated 2D classic THE IRON GIANT, THE INCREDIBLES makes reverential fun of the superhero genre while keeping it very family friendly - unlike SUPER or KICK-ASS.

This Blu-ray release contains some of the special features from the two-disc DVD release, plus some new ones. Pixar films always look amazing on Blu-ray and this one is no exception. If you don't already have a copy of one of the best superhero movies in recent years, now is a great time to get it.

THE INCREDIBLES is out on Blu-ray from Disney Pixar on 27 June and is available from Play and all good retailers.
