Based on a series of stories by Edgar Rice Borroughs, John Carter tells of the eponymous war-weary former military captain who is inexplicably transported to Barsoom (Mars) where he becomes reluctantly embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions. In a world on the brink of collapse, Carter rediscovers his humanity when he realises that the survival of Barsoom and its people rests in his hands.

Oscar-winning director Andrew Stanton (Wall-E, Finding Nemo) has created a sweeping action adventure, re-mastered into stunning IMAX 3D.
