Tales From the Darkside premiered in 1983 and continued on to 1988 and with 89 thirty minute long episodes it is considered to be one of the greatest horror/sci fi series.

After the success of his film Creepshow, George A. Romero was asked to work on a spin-off series hence Tales from the Darkside was born.

Numerous episodes have been adapted from stories from great writers such as Stephen King, Clive Barker and Frederik Pohl. On february 20 all 24 episodes from season two will be released on DVD, Limited Edition, Including featurette 'On Air With George A. Romero'
