The fabulous Brit Marling who starred and co-wrote ANOTHER EARTH, which we screened last Oktoberfest, again co-writes a grown-up smart and superb FX-free sci-fi.
In SOUND OF MY VOICE, Peter (Christopher Denham) and Lorna (Nicole Vicius)play a couple who make documentary films. The plan is to infiltrate a mysterious group led by an enigmatic young woman named Maggie(Brit Marling). Intent on exposing her as a charlatan and freeing the followers from her grip. But after a time, Peter is starting to be swayed toward Maggie. Lorna starts to question their objective and each other as they unravel the secrets of Maggie's underworld.
