Whether it's the nonstop nudity, the crazed action or wonderful practical effects, this movie is a much overlooked entertaining couple hours of cinema.

Spaceshuttle Churchill, on a mission to investigate Halley's Comet, discovers something inside the rock; hundreds of frozen bat-like creatures and strange crystalline containers with three nude humanoids, two male and one female (Mathilda May). They bring the bodies aboard their ship… well, you know what happens next.

Mission control looses communication and sends another shuttle to find out what happened. When they dock, they find the crew dead, dessicated… but the three nudes are intact. To cut a long story short, everyone comes back to Earth and then it really kicks off.

From the Colin Wilson book, Space Vampires, the film was co-written by Dan O'Bannon of Alien and Dark Star fame!
