Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return

Bring the kids, dress up in costume (and it doesn’t have to be an Oz character – any film, TV or book costume is welcome!), meet our face-painters and get ready to take a trip back to Oz.

Aside from Shakespeare and horror staples such as Dracula, Frank L Baum’s Wizard of Oz is one of the most adapted stories, with the Judy Garland version still as popular as ever.

This animated sequel sees Dorothy once again leave Kansas to save her old friends the Scarecrow (Dan Ackroyd), the Tin Man (Kelsey Grammer), and the Cowardly Lion (Jim Belushi). Along the way Dorothy will meet Glinda the Good Witch (Bernadette Peters) and a brand new character, THE JESTER, the devious brother of the Wicked Witch of the West, voiced by Martin Short!

The land of Oz is in trouble and Dorothy holds the only hope of restoring order and happiness to Emerald City. Dorothy must embark on another adventure, meeting a host of new friends, Wiser the Owl (Oliver Platt), Marshal Mallow (Hugh Dancy), Tugg the Treeboat (Patrick Stewart) and China Doll Princess (Megan Hilty) to help her along the way.

Along with the star-studded voice cast, there are new songs by Bryan Adams, making it a fun-filled magical adventure for the whole family.

This free screening is in association with Variety, the Children's Charity.
