THE BATTERY

Mickey and Ben are survivors, they have travelled non-stop since the 'outbreak', sticking to the back-roads to avoid meeting the infected.

Ben has let his beard grow and is almost embracing the scavenging for food and breaking into farmhouses along their journey.

Mickey is still clinging to his old ways, lottery tickets, hair care and his damn headphones on all the time!

After a chance overhearing of a transmission through a pair of walkie-talkies they find, Ben and Mickey think there is a highly organised, even civilised, survivor camp within the area. For Ben, this doesn’t seem appealing but for Mickey it would be a chance to live in a society, to reclaim some sense of normalcy again. Mickey inadvertently leads them into a tense situation that becomes more dire, more scary and nothing either of them could’ve foreseen.

Zombie movies come and go, and few of them these days add anything new to the cannon, but THE BATTERY delivers where many fail. It is a fresh, witty and has an awesome soundtrack. Seriously, don't miss this!
