Haphead

HAPHEAD comes from the pen of Jim Munroe, the guy behind festival favourite GHOSTS WITH SHIT JOBS.

Set in a future where Haptic VR has become a reality, the next level of gaming incorporates a device that attaches to the back of the head, where your body learns the moves you make in a game (think Neo’s “I know kung fu” moment, except with the games).

Maxine works in a factory making haptic inputs, and steals one to play her favourite rabbit-ninja game.

However, there are sinister goings-on with some of the ‘hapheads’ at the factory, and she soon has to put her newly learned skills into action against something more real than kick-ass bunnies.

Now that TV looks like cinema (only with better stories), web series are becoming the new TV. This feature film is based on a web series of the same name. It is filled with plausible ideas and great production values.

Don’t miss this rare chance of seeing it on a big screen.
