SCI-FI-LONDON @ The BFI IMAX All Nighter

IMAX All Nighter

BFI IMAX and SCI-FI-LONDON have teamed up to present the ultimate night of sci-fi on Britain's biggest screen.

This special event kicks off with Richard Dreyfuss’s brush with UFOs in Steven Spielberg’s CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND (1977) (35mm*), followed by Peter Hyams’s space western OUTLAND (1981)(70mm*) starring Sean Connery.

As dawn breaks it will be time for Douglas Trumbull’s brain warping thriller BRAINSTORM (1983)(70mm*) and finally, Stanley Kubrick’s pioneering masterpiece 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY (1968)(Digital).

Free tea and coffee will be served during the breaks between each film so that no-one misses the action and there will be competitions for the best fancy dress and prize give-aways.

Drinks and snacks will be available to buy throughout the night.

This All-Nighter will finish at approximately 9.30am on Saturday 30 April.
