SUSPECTED - real world gaming

Suspected

Are you one of them? Can you afford to find out?

SCI-FI-LONDON have commissioned Fire Hazard, who design and run real-world gaming events, to present a huge real-world game on London's Southbank.

Choose a challenge: you can compete in stealth and deception, or rely on your speed and agility. Choose a codename. And, if it comes to it, be prepared to choose a side.

Guided by the Citizen Education Officer's voice in your ear (and perhaps the odd message from the resistance), you'll evade agents, crack codes, pass on secret messages, spot clues and demonstrate superhuman powers of reasoning to win the challenge and become one of the RECOGNISED.

However you approach the challenge, as one of the SUSPECTED you're in for an intense half hour.

Immediately afterwards, stay around to enjoy SCI-FI-LONDON's spectacular costume parade... in fact, turn up to play in costume, it will make you LESS obvious!

More details:

After you buy your ticket you'll get full instructions, along with a map to print and an mp3 file to download and put on your iPod, phone or mp3 device. Every mp3 file is different, so don't listen to it before the day! If you buy two tickets at once you'll get the same mp3 so you can stay together.

If there are more than two of you, then you'll get split up at some point in the game.

The ticket system will also ask you for your mobile number. We'll send you some messages during the game, but not before or after.

On the day you'll be outside for most of the half hour, so dress appropriately.

It's OK to wear your costume if you're staying for the parade - in fact, please do.

Make sure you've printed out your ID (we'll send it to you later) and pinned it to your chest.

When you get the start signal (which will be described in the instructions), start your mp3 player. Everything will become clear.

You won't need to bring anything except your printed map/id and mp3 player. Whatever you do bring, you'll need to keep it with you.
