Atlantis Down

Atlantis Down

It’s 2025 and the Shuttle Programme has been sold off and privatised and now acts as a glorified bus service between space stations. Atlantis’ crew are on a routine mission when a strange problem develops and they find all but one of the team transported to an Earthlike planet, with no knowledge of how they got there.

Soon things start to go wrong and survival becomes imperative as the crew have to face their deepest fears.

Will the only remaining member of the crew be able to help them? And who is responsible for the situation they find themselves in?

This low-budget indie has shades of SOLARIS and SPHERE, as imagined through an episode of STAR TREK, with a nod to Bergman’s THE SEVENTH SEAL.

The film features SCI-FI-LONDON’s favourite polymath, Dean Haglund, who will be at the festival and introduce the movie, director Max Bartoli will follow the film with a Q&A.
