The rules were written a long time ago: you are not supposed to molest children, jump queues or key cars; if you do, prepare to face the wrath of the Crimson Bolt! When Frank’s (Rainn Wilson) wife leaves him for Jacques (Kevin Bacon), a seductive, psychopathic drug dealer, Frank is transformed and the Crimson Bolt is born.

With a hand-made suit, and armed with his trusty wrench, the Crimson Bolt beats his way through the mean streets of crime in the hope of saving his wife (Liv Tyler).

Frank wages a one man war on crime until Libby (Ellen Page), a local comic book store employee, transforms herself into a super heroine named ‘Boltie’ and becomes Frank’s sidekick.

The two then team up to take Jacques down.

This is a fantastic and very funny film and a perfect way to wrap up the 10th SCI-FI-LONDON film festival, early booking is advised!
