Hodder & Stoughton launch Red Moon by Benjamin Percy

Benjamin Percy & Robert Grant
Monday night saw the launch of the highly anticipated novel Red Moon by Benjamin Percy ahead of its release next week. There were lots of lovely people in attendance and all were clamouring for his attention. His Wolverine sideburns, wicked sense of humour and low snarly, growly drawl were enough to turn everyone into dithering teenage wrecks and we were lucky enough to grab a few moments with the man himself.

Red Moon is Ben’s second novel, his award winning debut The Wilding (published by Graywolf – amazing right?) was met with great praise. His short stories and non-fiction have also been published in Esquire, Outside and Men’s Journal to name a few, and he teaches at Iowa State.

While talking to Ben about his book, it’s clear that he is a little nervous about the launch - werewolves and political thriller do not often share the same thought, never mind the same sentence - but having read it we can safely say he has no need to worry; Red Moon is definitely something special so keep an eye out for our review.

If you're in London come and listen a Q&A with Benjamin Percy about Red Moon, and see the first two episodes of Hemlock Grove TONIGHT at SCI-FI-LONDON and They Live Among Us.
