Not so long ago we wrote about the launch of new British sci-fi web series, Infinite due to begin screening early 2014. Well British filmmaker Paul Cotrulia has just announced the cast of the show and it looks pretty exciting as Nicholas Briggs will headline the ensemble cast as General Richter, the senior military commander of a manned mission into a black hole.

The Doctor Who actor, best known to fans as the voice of both the Daleks and the Cybermen, will be joined by West End heartthrob Joshua Berg as the handsome and brooding cyborg, Colonel McQuaid, and newcomer Helena McColl as the beautiful and sensitive android, Sil.

Rounding out the cast is Dutch actress Lia Albers as sultry engineer Svensson and Joseph Law as cocky pilot Anderson, named in tribute to the late Gerry Anderson who died last year.

The first teaser trailer is already online with a second spectacular trailer and the first behind the scenes video report coming in October.
