Strangeness in Space, a new '80s-inspired comedy sci-fi audio series, has debuted on Kickstarter. Trev and Simon (from the kids shows Going Live! and Live and Kicking!) and Sophie (Sophie Aldred, who played Ace in Doctor Who) are thrown together with their robot LEMON (Linguistically Enhanced Mobile Operations Network) in space, facing down a host of monsters and space dwellers, played by various cult actors and celebrities. 

Here's the pitch: 

"Think Lost in Space meets Tintin meets Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy meets Dumb and Dumber - with every other sci-fi movie and cult TV show thrown in for good measure.... 

and then also think Trev & Simon...!  

And then think of Sophie! 

And then think audio, not film or TV

(Yes, we know, that's a lot of thinking. Why not have a little lie down now?)"

The series will be produced by Clare Eden who previously did the show The Minister of Chance. They'll be free to download but the more they can raise the more episodes they can make!
