Ignore the chilly weather and get ready to cos-play the weekend away as the London Anime Con returns to the captial on the 9th and 10th February.

Gamers can look forward to a packed programme on the Sunday with free-to-enter tournaments with a £150 prize-pot to be awarded to the top dog in Blazblue Continuum Extend, Street Fighter x Tekken, Marvel v Capcom 3. If fighting games aren't your thing, other tournaments throughout the day include SSIV Arcade, Pokemon, Call of Duty Black Ops 2, Stepmania, Halo Reach and more whilst the ever-popular retro gaming zone will have over 40 systems and over 100 titles to reminisce and chill out with.

Elsewhere at the Con, there are manga workshops, J-pop parties, culture talks, trading card zones and of course the Cos-Play Masquerade where fans come together to display their love for their fave anime characters with beautifully crafted costumes - a highlight of the weekend.

This year, the special guest of honour is Fullmetal Alchemist star Caitlin Glass. Best known for her role as Winry Rockbell and with over 50 other anime and gaming titles under her belt, Glass will be taking questions from Con attendees as well as happily staying for a free signing session.
