I visited EasterCon a couple of weeks ago and while I was there I had the chance to meet with another Gollancz debutante, fantasy author Sam Sykes, vising the UK all the way from Flagstaff, Arizona to promote his novel Tome of the Undergates, a heroic fantasy that pits a team of mismatched ne'er do wells and adventurers against a selection of demons and monsters to retrieve a captured book that has the power to bring hell on earth. Brilliant stuff!
