Mario Kart 64 Tournament on the big screen this Saturday @ Stratford Picturehouse

Stratford Rising
Stratford Picturehouse will be going retro this weekend for the Stratford Rising Festival, with fun and games for all. The one we want to shout about most is the Mario Kart 64 tournament, happening on the BIG SCREEN! Once Upon a Console will be bringing their N64 and joining the guys and gals at Stratford Picturehouse on Saturday. It’s only £1 to enter. Plus there will be retro games and consoles available to play. So round up the troupes, because it's time to flex those gaming skills.

There are also special screenings throughout the weekend to celebrate, including Wreck-It Ralph, Wargames, Jumanji, Labyrinth. Plus a Labyrinth quiz. Check out their news page to find out more. Plus priced at £3 each, and open to all, this is certainly not to be missed! If you thought £3 was a total bargain, it gets better. If you're child is one of their Kids' Club Members, then you'll get in for £1 each!

This is all to celebrate the Stratford Rising Festival, taking place throughout the weekend, which our friends at Stratford Picturehouse are a part of. Theatre Square (the square just outside the cinema) will be transformed into a giant pop-up playground - sounds seriously exciting!

It’s certainly going to be a time to laugh, dance, play, make, slide, eat, drink and enjoy. With screenings, shows, adventures, games and activities for grown ups, little kids and your inner child. Because it’s playtime! Are you game?
