Get in the Deus Ex mood

Deux Ex
We’re uber excited here at SFL about all things Deus Ex: Human Revolution and with good reason.

Not only have there been some awesome new screenshots released this week for us to obsess over, but DC Comics have published the first of a six part Deus Ex miniseries.

Deux Ex Comic
Written by Robbie Morrison with art by Trevor Hairsine with cover artwork by Jim Murray (see left), the series digs around cybernetically enhanced Adam Jensen’s mysterious past as a member of the Detroit Police SWAT. Whilst on a kidnap recovery mission, Jensen unearths a trail of violence and betrayal that will span the globe!

There’s also a brand new novel out, Deus Ex: Icarus Effect by James Swallow.

Deux Ex
Set in 2027 at the beginning of the Human Revolution saga with the approaching dawn of limitless human evolution, a secret corporate cabal of callous men intends to make sure that humankind stays under its control. Issue one features Secret Service agent Anna Kelso who has been suspended for investigating the shooting that claimed her partner's life.

Anna suspects that the head of a bio-augmentation firm was the real target, and against orders she's turned up a few leads concerning a covert paramilitary force and a cadre of underground hackers.

But the cover-up runs deep, and now there's a target on her back. Meanwhile, Ben Saxon, former SAS officer turned mercenary, joins a shadowy special ops outfit. They say they're a force for good, but Saxon quickly learns that the truth is not so clear-cut.

So begins a dangerous quest to uncover a deadly secret that will take him from Moscow to London, D.C. to Geneva, and to the dark truth if he lives that long.

Deux Ex
A great way to SWAT up (see what we did there?) on who’s who in the near future 'Human Revolution' before the game, where your playing style influences how the story unfolds and which promises a perfect mix of action and role-play comes out later this year.
