Interview with Clarke Award nominee Marcel Theroux

Marcel Theroux's fourth novel - and his first science fiction novel -
Far North, is a beautiful, slow-burning read that rewards the patient reader with a fascinating and compelling story that will be remembered long after it's put down. Small wonder then that it made the shortlist for this years Arthur C Clarke Award for Science Fiction Literature and while it didn't win the award, it was well deserving of its place and we can hope that Marcel continues to work in the genre for many years to come.
I was lucky enough to catch-up with him a few days before the award ceremony to talk about the book, about his writing and about his travels through Russia and Siberia that served as the inspiration for the story. One of the nicest and most interesting guys I've had the pleasure of interviewing, settle down and enjoy the company of Marcel Theroux courtesy of SCI-FI-LONDON.tv
