Rob Deb's Sci-fi-cabaret

SCI-FI-Cabaret
Rob Deb

STOP PRESS... Danny Buckler has joined the line-up, doing some magic and stand-up, we also have two more Burlesque acts... sorry to say it has also sold out!.

Hosted by SCI-FI-LONDON's favourite geek comedian, Rob Deb, we present a night of stupidity, dancing and probably some nudity!

Sterling stand-up comedy comes from Rob Deb himself and three other fantastic performers:

Bec Hill

Bec Hill
Originally from Australia, but now residing in London, Bec is one of the rising stars on the UK comedy circuit. Her 2010 Edinburgh show, ‘Bec Hill Doesn’t Want to Play Your Game Anyway’, received 5 star reviews, while her 2008 show ‘If You Can Read This, My Cape Fell Off’ was nominated for the Groggy Squirrel’s Critic’s Choice at the 2008 Melbourne Comedy Festival.

Currently working on a sitcom with Scottish writer Gavin Innes, she also turned an unsuccessful audition for a tampon ad into a YouTube hit: see that here

Nathanial Metcalfe

Nathanial Metcalfe
He has been doing stand up since 2007, and got through to the semi-finals of the So You Think You’re Funny? competition after only five gigs. In 2010 he got through to the semi-final of the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year and the final of the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year.

He is the only resident act at Josie Long’s Lost Treasures of the Black Heart club.

Pete Dillon Trenchard

Pete Dillion
Pete has been applying his unique brand of geekiness to the London comedy circuit since April 2010, and has yet to work out what it is about his encyclopaedic knowledge of Star Trek and his failed love life that people find quite so funny.

The evening also has some 'burlesque with bite!" from Sophia Disgrace doing her Darth Vader routine (see it to believe it!) - and there are more acts to be announced.

Sophia
We also have DJ Mermaid and a few surprise turns providing music until 3am!
