This Friday the 13th saw the release of a new horror movie... no it doesn't involve anyone wearing sporting equipment causing mayhem in a summer camp.  

It is Oculus, the highly anticipated new film from Mike Flanagan (Absentia), which stars Karen Gillen (Doctor Who), Brendon Thwaites (Maleficent) and Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica).

It's a very effective little chiller, and a lot smarter than your average "thing bursts out of a cupboard making a loud noise" modern horror.
